One night, I sat farting next to my friend.

We weren’t close friends yet.

I thought my farts were not too stinky.

Then her dog farted.

It smelled a lot worse than my farts.

I waved my hand in the air.

She said, “I know, I’m so sorry.”

You must know, Kendall is an engineer. She went on to explain how human fart molecules are different from dog fart molecules. Dog fart molecules are larger and potentially stinkier but they should pass faster.

Her explanation led me to believe she had been smelling my farts the whole time.
